Photographers often come to me to learn how to take better pictures of models. But before you can start working with models, you need to show what you can do. You do this by putting together a strong collection of your best photos, called a portfolio. The pictures you take during our workshops with models will be the first ones in your portfolio. Once you have enough good examples in your portfolio, you can ask model agencies if you can take pictures of their models for free to add to your portfolio and make it even better.

In the outdoor photography workshops, we'll focus on taking pictures of models using natural light. You'll learn about talking well with your subjects, planning a photo session, picking a good spot, positioning the model, connecting with them, and all the other things you need to know to take great photos.
